Phoenix Catholic Campus Ministry

Catholic Campus ministry is an experience of the Church's presence and ministry to the entire community involved in higher education. Campus Ministry gathers the Catholic community for prayer, worship and learning so that the light of the Gospel shines on the academic community.

  • SR. LAURA ZELTEN, OSF | Director of Campus Ministry

    Sr. Laura serves as Catholic Campus Minister and Newman Club Co-Advisor through the Diocese of Green Bay. A native of De Pere, WI, Sr. Laura is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross. She graduated from St. Norbert College with an undergraduate degree in Education and a Masters of Theological Studies. She has completed her certification in Spiritual Direction from the Franciscan Spirituality Center in La Crosse, WI. Sr. Laura is bilingual in Spanish and English.

  • FR. Kevin Ripley  | Sacramental Minister

    Fr. Kevin grew up in Pulaski with his older brother Kyle and parents Rick and Cathy. After graduating from UW-Madison in Mechanical Engineering, Fr. Kevin went to Mundelein Seminary for six years and was assigned as Parochial Vicar of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish in Oshkosh for the past three years. In addition to being involved at UWGB, he is the Director of the Kairos year, accompanying the new seminarians for their first year living at the Holy Name of Jesus House of Formation. Personally, Fr. Kevin enjoys fishing, skiing, kayaking, reading, exercising, and spending time with his two nephews.

  • Isaac Erickson    | Student Outreach Coordinator

    Isaac is a student a at UW - Green Bay. He studies Political Science and intends to study law beginning in the Spring of 2025. He is a transfer and commuter student. A member of Student Government, Isaac has held positions as a Senator, Chairman, and SUFAC Committee Member. He also served as a teaching assistant, has participated in intramural sports, been a member of political organizations, and worked as the Phoenix Catholic Treasurer. Outside of campus life, Isaac works at a law firm, loves to play basketball, and appreciates time spent with his friends, parents, six siblings, and his adorable nieces and nephews.  To contact Isaac email

  • Mike Kline | Pheonix Catholic advisor

    Mike is going into his 35th year in the 2022-23 season as the head coach of Green Bay men's and women's cross country teams. He is also the Assistant AD of Compliance, Student Welfare, and Student Services. Kline landed the Green Bay coaching position while still a cross country student-athlete in 1987.
