You’ll have plenty of time to relax, play some ultimate Frisbee, canoe on inland Lake Mackaysee, and explore the natural wonders of the island. Explore the ruins of an old resort and casino, which was destroyed by fire during the great depression.

Text Box: Quo Vadis? Every year we team up with other local colleges for an island adventure you won’t forget. Take a break from your studies, pack your bags (lightly), and get ready for our three-day island adventure! On Friday night, we head up to Chamber’s Island, located 4 miles west of Fish Creek in Door County. We ride the seaworthy Quo Vadis, which is Latin for “Where are You Going?” Holy Name Retreat Center When we arrive, we’ll enjoy some of Char’s home cookin’ as we get to know our new friends from Oshkosh and Silver Lake. We stay in the Holy Name Retreat Center, which is located on an isthmus, or land bridge, on the eastern side of the island. Every room has a beautiful view of either Lake Michigan or inland Lake Mackaysee. Workin’ Hard Saturday morning we all rise early for breakfast and a head start on our work for the day. We spend the morning cleaning the retreat center, chopping weeds, raking leaves, stacking wood, filling pot holes, and more. It’s a lot of fun and a great time to get to know some new people. Pray Most importantly, you’ll have a chance to spend time with God in the natural beauty He created for us. We’ll spend time in community as we experience a program unlike any other. Our retreat program takes place Friday night, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning. How to Register? Registration will be open in Spring of 2010.
